With over 25 years of experience in  performing and in teaching music, Elaine brings her distinctive teaching style by encouraging the shyest individual to blossom and to learn and enjoy their newfound skill.

"I am a 'Cali Girl', with ties to Oakland and Vacaville. I earned a BA in speech pathology, a teaching degree in General Education K-8th, and a degree in Special Education at UOP. The arts have been an integral part of my life from my earliest memories. I feel strongly about sharing my experience and my passion for the arts with others, especially young people.

I am excited to have the opportunity to serve as a member of the board."

A Grammy-nominated musician, Andrew has toured throughout the United States and Europe as a guitarist and bassist with indie rock bands, bluegrass groups, and improvising ensembles. His work as a composer and educator has appeared in outlets such as pitchfork.com, the Florida State University Biennial New Music Festival, Music Theory Online,NewMusicBox, Pedagogy into Practice, and the Society of Composers National Conference. Andrew is a passionate teacher and currently serves as Assistant Professor and Program Director of Composition and Music Theory at University of the Pacific.
